Al-Taj News – U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the Department of Agriculture will launch an $8 billion program to support American farmers and compensate them for part of their diesel costs during the current harvest season, amid rising fuel prices and production input costs.

Trump said in a speech he delivered yesterday, Monday, in the state of Kansas during an election campaign ahead of the midterm elections scheduled for November: “I am also pleased to announce tonight that the Department of Agriculture will launch a new fuel relief program during the harvest season, providing our farmers with $8 billion in support to compensate for diesel costs during the season.”
